Abstract:
An air bag device manufacturing method according to the present invention includes: folding a projecting portion (41e) in a roll shape from an upward direction toward a downward direction of a vehicle (100); folding one end of the roll-shaped projecting portion (41e) downward to come into contact with a side surface of a horizontal portion (41d) such that a longitudinal direction of the projecting portion (41e) is oriented in a vertical direction; folding a third part (41c) in a roll shape or a bellows shape; disposing the third part (41c), folded into a roll shape, between the projecting portion (41e) and an inflater (42); folding back a second part (41b), disposed on the opposite side of an accommodating portion (411) to a first part (41a), to the first part (41a) side; and wrapping and folding the first part (41a) so as to cover the projecting portion (41e) and the third part (41c).
