Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are an air bearing spindle and a drilling rig, comprising: a machine body assembly provided with an axial inner hole; and a shaft core assembly provided with a rotor and a flying disc, and supported at the axial inner hole by means of an air bearing, wherein the air bearing comprises an air bearing motor assembly and an air thrust bearing assembly, the air bearing motor assembly comprises a stator core, the stator core is located on the outer side of the rotor and provided with a coil winding and radial air supply holes, the radial air supply holes are distributed along the circumferential direction of the stator core and aerated to form a static-pressure air film supporting the shaft core assembly, and the air thrust bearing assembly matches the flying disc. According to the present invention, a radial air bearing is highly integrated with a motor, so that the functions of the air bearing are achieved, and the functions of the motor are also achieved; and a group of parts is reduced accordingly, so that the structure is more compact, the space utilization is more reasonable, and the condition is created for the improvement of the power of the spindle under the same volume.
