Abstract:
An air blower. An air duct portion (4) and a mounting portion (10) of the air blower are spaced apart to form an air intake space, which is adjacent to an air inlet (41) and is located between the air duct portion (4) and the mounting portion (10). The air blower further comprises a blocking portion (6) for blocking at least part of the air intake space, wherein the blocking portion (6) is only connected to one of the air duct portion (4) and the mounting portion (10), so that the blocking portion (6) can play a role in blocking large articles, such as clothes, and prevent the large articles, such as clothes, from entering the air intake space and blocking the air inlet (41), such that air intake can be performed normally at the air inlet (41). The distance of extension of the blocking portion (6) from any one of the air duct portion (4) and the mounting portion (10) to the other exceeds 1/5 of the minimum spacing between the air duct portion and the mounting portion in the axial direction of a fan; and a spacing area between the blocking portion (6) and the air duct portion (10) also provides a lateral air intake channel for an airflow to enter the air intake space, such that the blocking portion (6) can reduce an obstruction to the airflow entering the air inlet while playing a role in blocking large articles, such as clothes.
