Abstract:
Provided is an air cleaner which has a simple configuration and which is capable of issuing a filter replacement timing notification accurately.
In the air cleaner A, a control unit 50 transmits a total amount of air that has passed through a dust collecting unit 20 in a predetermined period, and a total dust collecting time to a computing unit 60. The computing unit 60 acquires information about the volume of an installation space and the amount of dust contained in the installation space, and, on the basis of the total amount of air that has passed through the dust collecting unit 20, the total dust collecting time, the volume of the installation space, and the amount of dust contained in the installation space, calculates and issues a notification of a total dust collecting amount which is the total amount of dust captured by the dust collecting unit.
