Abstract:
Provided is a packaged, air-cooled air compressor capable of recommending to clean a cooler at an appropriate timing while holding down costs. The packaged, air-cooled air compressor comprises: two cooling paths to an air-cooled cooler and a motor in a package, the cooling paths having two cooling air intakes that take in outside air, a fan and an outlet that together discharge to the outside cooling air after cooling the cooler and the motor, and two temperature sensors that detect the temperature of bearings located at both ends of a motor shaft; a control unit that calculates the temperature difference between the bearings located on the upstream side (counter-load side) and downstream side (load side) at both ends of the motor shaft in the cooling air flow direction, and determines that the cooler is clogged if the temperature difference is less than a threshold value; and a display unit that, if it has been determined that the cooler is clogged, informs the user of a recommendation to clean.
