Abstract:
The present invention provides a technology relating to an air conditioner for controlling a wind direction toward an indicated location by using artificial intelligence and a method for controlling same. An air conditioner for controlling a wind direction toward an indicated location according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an object recognition unit for recognizing an object contained in an image captured by a camera unit disposed in the air conditioner; a voice recognition unit for receiving a voice command indicating an object; and a control unit for controlling wind from a blower unit to blow toward the location of the object indicated by the voice command.
