Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application is an air conditioner and a defrosting control method therefor, relating to the technical field of air conditioners. An outdoor heat exchanger of the air conditioner comprises at least one first heat exchange fin set arranged on an upper part and at least one second heat exchange fin set arranged on a lower part; the air conditioner also comprises a controller, the controller being used for: determining whether preset defrosting operating conditions are met; if so, then controlling the air conditioner to operate in a defrosting mode; when running in a defrosting mode, controlling the first heat exchange fin set to be in communication with a refrigerant circulation pipeline, and blocking the communication of the second heat exchange fin set with the refrigerant circulation pipeline; and, after the first heat exchange fin set completes defrosting, blocking the communication of the first heat exchange fin set with the refrigerant circulation pipeline and controlling the second heat exchange fin set to be in communication with the refrigerant circulation pipeline. The top then bottom defrosting order can reduce the total defrosting time of the outdoor heat exchanger, and can avoid the problem of the melted frost water of the upper heat exchange fin set from recondensing on the lower heat exchange fin set.
