Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of air conditioners, and specifically provides an air conditioner and a dust removal control method for an air conditioner, which aim to solve the problem in which it is difficult for existing air conditioners to automatically perform dust removal and cooling on outdoor heat exchangers, thereby easily affecting the refrigeration effect of the air conditioners. For this purpose, the air conditioner of the present invention comprises a spraying component, a driving component, a water storage component, and a power device. The water storage component is configured to be capable of receiving condensate water generated in the heat exchange process of an indoor heat exchanger for use in dust removal and cooling; the driving component is configured to be capable of driving the spraying component to move relative to an outdoor heat exchanger so as to achieve movable spraying; and the power device is configured to be capable of driving water in the water storage component to be sprayed onto the outdoor heat exchanger by means of the spraying component. In the dust removal control method of the present invention, according to the temperature of the environment where the outdoor heat exchanger is located, the spraying component can be selectively controlled to start, so that the spraying component can be automatically controlled to comprehensively perform dust removal and cooling on the outdoor heat exchanger, thereby effectively ensuring the refrigeration effect of the air conditioner.
