Abstract:

The air conditioner for an electric vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a compressor for compressing a refrigerant; an internal heat exchanger for enabling the refrigerant discharged from the compressor and fed to the inner heat exchanger to exchange heat with air; an external heat exchanger for enabling the fed refrigerant to exchange heat with the outdoor air; a first expansion device, interposed between the internal heat exchanger and the external heat exchanger, for expanding the refrigerant fed therein; an evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant fed therein so as to dehumidify interior air; a second expansion device, interposed between the external heat exchanger and the evaporator, for expanding the refrigerant fed therein; a first bypass flow channel connected in such a manner so as to enable the refrigerant passed through the internal heat exchanger to bypass the first expansion device and the external heat exchanger and flow toward the evaporator; and a second bypass flow channel connected in such a manner so as to enable the refrigerant flowing toward the evaporator to bypass the evaporator and flow toward the compressor. The first bypass flow channel is selectively used according to the outdoor temperature, and the second bypass flow channel is selectively used during a heating operation according to the interior humidity.
