[Problem] To restrict not only an upper limit value but also a lower limit value of the power consumption of an air conditioner. [Solution] This air conditioner comprises a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion mechanism, an indoor heat exchanger, and an operation control unit for controlling the operation frequency of the compressor so that the power consumption of the air conditioner or the compressor reaches a value higher than a lower limit setting value.
