Abstract:
Provided is an air-conditioner remote control device comprising: a transmission unit that transmits an operation signal to a corresponding air conditioner; a wireless communication unit that communicates wirelessly with an external wireless communication apparatus or another remote control device; and a main control unit that controls the transmission unit and the wireless communication unit. If the wireless communication unit has received an operation signal from the external wireless communication apparatus or another remote control device, the main control unit causes the transmission unit to transmit the operation signal to the corresponding air conditioner and causes the wireless communication unit to sense other remote control devices emitting radio waves; and if another wireless communication unit emitting radio waves has been sensed by the wireless communication unit, the main control unit causes the wireless communication unit to transmit the operation signal to the other remote control device emitting radio waves.
