Abstract:

An air conditioner which is safer and in which power required for an indoor unit to convey water is reduced. A compressor (10) and a heat source-side heat exchanger (12) are received in a heat source device (1), an intermediate heat exchanger (15) and a pump (21) are received in a relay unit (3), and a utilization-side heat exchanger (26) is received in the indoor unit (2). When the control device (60) stops the compressor (10) based on an operation stop instruction or on thermo off due to a reduction in heat load at the utilization-side heat exchanger (26), the control device (60) also stops the pump (21) after or almost at the same time as the stop of the compressor (10).
