Title:
AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/170616
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioner with which it is possible to store exhaust heat from within a refrigeration cycle and to ensure adequate operating performance through the transfer of heat. Conventional air conditioners operate on the principle of storing cold during a cooling operation or on the principle of storing heat during a heating operation, but in both types of air conditioner the operation performance declines during the operation. In addition, a surplus amount of electrical power equivalent to the portion of heat or cold that is stored is consumed. This air conditioner is provided with a means for releasing heat (cooling) and a means for switching between enabling and disabling the transfer of heat, in addition to a means for storing heat from a heat exhaust unit, whereby defrosting is performed without interrupting a heating operation state as a result of feeding, to an outdoor heat exchanger, a refrigerant stored at a high temperature in a heat storage tank during heating, and a cooling operation state is not restricted as a result of feeding, to a heat generator, the refrigerant stored at a low temperature in the heat storage tank during cooling.
