Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioner in which it is possible to minimize indoor coolant leaks and in which high safety is provided when using combustible coolant. There is provided an indoor unit (1) positioned internally and an outdoor unit (2) positioned externally, partitioned from the interior via a wall. The indoor unit (1) includes a first coolant pipe (3) through which combustible coolant circulates. The outdoor unit (2) includes a second coolant pipe (4) through which combustible coolant circulates, the second coolant pipe (4) being connected to the first coolant pipe (3). The second coolant pipe (4) has a portion that is thinner than the thinnest portion of the first coolant pipe (3).
