Abstract:
This air conditioner has: a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor, a 4-way valve, a heat source-side heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and a load-side heat exchanger are connected; and a control unit that controls a refrigeration cycle in which refrigerant is circulated in the refrigerant circuit and that switches the refrigerant channel in accordance with the cooling, heating, and defrosting operation state. The control unit has: a refrigeration cycle controlling means for switching the refrigerant channel by controlling the 4-way valve when switching the operation state from heating to defrosting; and a compressor controlling means for setting the operating frequency of the compressor to a value that is lower than the operating frequency during heating when switching the operation state from heating to defrosting.
