Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air conditioner that suppresses the generation of leakage vortices between a fan and a shroud. An air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an axial-flow fan for blowing air; a shroud which partially surrounds the circumference of the axial-flow fan and guides the air blown by the axial-flow fan; and an annular fence ring which is disposed on the inner surface of the shroud and protrudes from the inner surface of the shroud in the direction of a rotation axis of the axial-flow fan. Further, the fence ring is arranged between a downstream end of the axial-flow fan and a downstream end of the shroud.
