Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air conditioner. The air conditioner according to the concept of the present invention is an air conditioner including a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, and an evaporator, and comprises: a gas/liquid separator for separating a refrigerant, fed through the expansion valve, into a liquid refrigerant and a gas refrigerant; liquid pipes for connecting the gas/liquid separator and the evaporator so as to allow the liquid refrigerant separated by the gas/liquid separator to flow therethrough; and gas pipes for connecting the gas/liquid separator and the evaporator so as to allow the gas refrigerant separated by the gas/liquid separator to flow therethrough, wherein the evaporator includes a plurality of heat exchange pipes through which the respective refrigerants flow, and the liquid pipes and the gas pipes are each provided to correspond in number to the number of the plurality of heat exchange pipes.
