Abstract:
The air conditioner according to the present invention is provided with an outdoor unit (10) which can be connected to a plurality of indoor units (20A-20C). One of the plurality of indoor units (20A-20C) that are connected to the outdoor unit (10) is a low-performance indoor unit (20C) with lower performance than the other indoor units (20A, 20B). When the low-performance indoor unit (20C) starts a powerful operation, which provides higher performance than the maximum performance provided by a normal operation, a compressor (1) of the outdoor unit (10) is started with a faster rotational speed than the maximum rotational speed for starting during the normal operation.
