Abstract:

An air conditioner comprises: a refrigerant circuit (RC); an indoor unit (1) that has a casing and an indoor fan (12); a humidified air supply device (3) that supplies humidified air to inside the casing; and a control device that controls the refrigerant circuit (RC) and the humidified air supply device (3) and performs a cleaning operation to supply humidified air from the humidified air supply device (3) to inside the casing and clean an indoor heat exchanger (11) by causing the indoor heat exchanger (11) to function as an evaporator. During a first time period, which is from the time information pertaining to the start of the cleaning operation is received until a prescribed amount of time has passed, the control device restricts the flow of refrigerant to the indoor heat exchanger (11) more than during the cleaning operation by controlling the refrigerant circuit (RC) or sets the evaporation temperature (Te) of the indoor heat exchanger (11) to be higher than during the cleaning operation, and then, after the first time period, performs the cleaning operation by controlling the refrigerant circuit (RC) and the humidified air supply device (3).
