Abstract:
An air conditioner has a heat exchanger that exchanges heat between a refrigerant and the air, a drain pan that is disposed under the heat exchanger, drain piping that extends up from the drain pan and that discharges drain water collected in the drain pan, a pump that discharges the drain water from the drain pan via the drain piping, and an antibacterial agent addition device that is disposed so as to be in contact with the drain piping higher than the drain pan and that contains an antibacterial agent.
