Abstract:
The present invention provides an air conditioner capable of suppressing operation from being stopped at a timing not desirable for updating firmware. The air conditioner comprises an air conditioning mechanism that conditions air, a storage unit that stores firmware, a communication unit, and a control unit that executes the firmware to control the air conditioning mechanism, determines whether a hold condition is satisfied if the communication unit has received an instruction notification indicating that an operation for giving an instruction to update the firmware is performed on a terminal, and puts update of the firmware on hold if the hold condition is determined to be satisfied.
