Abstract:
This air-conditioning device comprises: indoor units that cool or heat spaces to be air-conditioned; an outdoor unit that supplies heat or cold to the indoor units; a refrigerant shut-off unit that shuts off supply of a refrigerant to the indoor units; refrigerant sensors that sense the refrigerant that has leaked from the indoor units; space detection units that detect information regarding the volumes of the spaces in which the indoor units are installed; and a control device that determines, on the basis of detection results from the space detection units, whether the spaces in which the indoor units are installed are small spaces, and energizes the refrigerant sensors if the spaces in which the indoor units are installed are small spaces.
