Abstract:
An air conditioning system, a compressor control device used therefor, and a method for driving the device are disclosed. The air conditioning system according to the present invention comprises: a compressor by which a refrigerant is compressed; a compression pipe through which the refrigerant compressed by the compressor is discharged; a suction pipe through which the refrigerant is suctioned for compression by the compressor; and a motor load reduction device which selectively connects the compression pipe of the compressor to the suction pipe of the compressor, wherein the motor load reduction device connects the compression pipe to the suction pipe for a predetermined period of time when the compressor is actuated, so as to remove the residual pressure in the compression pipe into the suction pipe, thereby reducing the load of a motor connected to the compressor.
