Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to improve overall energy consumption efficiency in an air-conditioning system in which multiple air conditioners each having a compressor carry out air conditioning of a single space to be air-conditioned. The air conditioners (21-29) have: usage-side heat exchangers for exchanging heat between a refrigerant and air in a room that is a space to be air-conditioned; heat-source-side heat exchangers for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and the air in a shared space; and compressors (41-49) for compressing the refrigerant circulating in the usage-side heat exchangers and the heat-source-side heat exchangers. When the air-conditioning capacity of two or more of the multiple air conditioners (21-29) is in a prescribed range, some of the compressors of the air conditioners in which the compressors are being driven are stopped.
