An air conditioning system, the air conditioning system comprising a condenser (10), an evaporator (20), a compressor (30), and a throttling device (40). The condenser (10), the evaporator (20), the compressor (30) and the throttling device (40) form a circulation system; The air conditioning system further comprises a bypass flow path a, one end of the bypass flow path a being connected to an exhaust port of the compressor (30), and the other end of the bypass flow path a being connected to an inlet of the evaporator (20); the bypass flow path a is used for opening when the air conditioning system is performing an ultra-low load operation; refrigerant that flows out of the compressor (30) is depressurized, and the depressurized refrigerant is led to the evaporator (20). By applying the technical solution, the amount of refrigerant participating in cooling by means of the condenser (10) may be reduced, and a portion of a load of the compressor (30) may be unloaded, such that the compressor (30) may meet requirements of ultra-low load operations when cooling load demand is low.
