Title:
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/021661
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of adopting a configuration such that, when a leak of refrigerant from an air conditioner has been sensed, a measure for addressing the refrigerant leak is implemented irrespective of a control signal from a thermostat to the air conditioner, the measure being suitable for the air conditioner. When it has been assessed via a leak-sensing sensor (60) that refrigerant has leaked, a relay controller (75) causes a communication line conduction/interruption relay (50) to operate irrespective of a control signal from a thermostat (40), either stops operation of a compressor (321) or stops operation of a gas furnace unit (205), and operates an indoor fan (240). This makes it possible to prevent much refrigerant from leaking through the indoors, or to prevent a flame from a combustion part (354) of the gas furnace unit (205) from being applied to leaked refrigerant, and also makes it possible to quickly diffuse leaked refrigerant that accumulates indoors, reduce the concentration of the leaked refrigerant, and ensure a state of safety.
