Abstract:
In this air-conditioning system comprising an accessory apparatus supplied with power from an air conditioner, the accessory apparatus is reduced in size. The air-conditioning system (1) comprises an air conditioner (2) and an accessory apparatus (3) driven by power supplied from the air conditioner (2). Power supply wiring (W) is a device for supplying power to the accessory apparatus (3) from the air conditioner (2). A first communication device (20) is for performing current loop communication between the air conditioner (2) and the accessory apparatus (3) by changing the current flowing to the power supply wiring (W). A second communication device (30) is a device for performing communication between the air conditioner (2) and the accessory apparatus (3) by superimposing a voltage signal on the power supply wiring (W). A controller (40) controls the first communication device (20) and the second communication device (30).
