An air duct system for a refrigerator, and a refrigerator, the air duct system for a refrigerator comprising: an air duct body provided with a fan; and an air duct front cover plate covering one side of the air duct body and defining a first air duct with the air duct body, wherein the first air duct is in communication with a first compartment of a refrigerator; a first wire slot is formed on the side of the air duct body facing the air duct front cover plate and is used for placing a wire of the fan; and relief structures matching each other are formed on the air duct front cover plate and the air duct body and around the first wire slot, so as to close the first wire slot. According to the solution of the present invention, the relief structures matching each other are formed on the air duct front cover plate and the air duct body and around the first wire slot, thereby improving the sealing performance of the first wire slot, preventing the wire of the fan in the first wire slot from being overcooled, and thus reducing the risk of condensation of the air duct system.
