Abstract:
Provided is an air duct with a silencer that can efficiently reduce a sound propagating in the air duct when air from a blower is blown through the air duct. This air duct with a silencer comprises: an air duct through which air blown from a blast source passes; and a first silencer and a second silencer that reduce the sounds propagating in the air duct by a passive silencing method, the sounds to be reduced being different in frequency band from each other. The first silencer that reduces the sound of the lower frequency band is arranged in a position closer to the blast source. The second silencer that reduces the sound of the higher frequency band is arranged in a position farther from the blast source. The frequency of a primary silencing peak of the second silencer is greater than or equal to the peak frequency with which intensity of the generated sound is the greatest, among the peak frequencies of the generated sound in the air duct due to blowing in the air duct.
