Abstract:
This air intake structure for an internal combustion engine is provided with: a passage member that is connected to a cylinder head and forms an air intake passage; and attachment bosses that are provided to the passage member and to which is attached an injector for injecting fuel. The passage member includes a bent section that causes the passage direction of the air intake passage to bend, and a connecting surface connected to the cylinder head. The attachment bosses are in positions slanted inward rather than outward in the in/out direction of the bend of the bent section, and when the passage member is viewed from the connecting surface side, the attachment bosses protrude in a direction orthogonal to the cylinder axial direction.
