Abstract:
Provided is an air purifier comprising: a high-temperature extension part which includes a high-temperature heater means and is provided on a part of a body having a certain size or volume and having an empty inner part or an accommodation space; and an operating device capable of controlling a heating means, a temperature sensor, and a fan such that air contaminated by external bacteria or viruses is suctioned to be introduced into the body via the high-temperature extension part, and air in the body is discharged through a nozzle portion by the fan. Accordingly, the air purifier can retain bacteria or viruses contained in air for a certain period of time at 60°C or higher at which a surface protein that is a material constituting the bacteria or viruses is modified, thereby killing the bacteria or viruses at high temperature.
