Abstract:
This air purifier is provided with: a cuboid enclosure; a blower, housed in the enclosure, for generating an airflow for sucking in air from a suction port and blowing out air from a blowout port; a control circuit unit for controlling electrical components that include the blower; and, a power supply wire connection section to which is connected a power supply cable routed from a third surface that opposes a wall surface inside the enclosure. The enclosure has: a first surface on which the suction port for sucking in air is provided; and, a second surface, different from the first surface, on which the blowout port for blowing out air is provided. The power supply wire connection section has a power supply line connection terminal block, a power supply line insertion section, and a terminal block cover. The power supply line connection terminal block electrically connects the power supply cable and a power supply line drawn from the control circuit unit. The power supply line insertion section is connected to a first opening that penetrates the third surface, protrudes toward a fourth surface of the enclosure on the side opposite to the third surface, and has a second opening for drawing the power supply cable to the power supply line connection terminal block. The terminal block cover covers the power supply line connection terminal block and the second opening.
