Abstract:
The present invention relates to an airbag housing of a vehicle, comprising: a body and a cover coupled to each other so as to provide a space therein for accommodating an airbag cushion and an inflator; and a hinge coupling part that connects the main body and one side end of the cover to each other and functions as a rotary shaft for rotating the cover when the airbag cushion is inflated and deployed, wherein the hinge coupling part is provided with a configuration in which a guide slit is formed to guide the direction of a rotational force acting during a rotational operation of the cover and an acting force caused by torsional stress, such that the direction of transmission of the acting force acting downward from the top of the hinge coupling part is dispersed while the cover rotates around the hinge coupling part when the airbag cushion is inflated and deployed, thereby preventing or minimizing tearing of the hinge coupling part.
