Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a VTOL aircraft capable of improved flight efficiency and preventing a reduction in takeoff and landing performance. [Solution] A VTOL aircraft 100 comprising a main wing 21, a first rotary wing part 11, and a second rotary wing part 12, wherein during flight using lift generated by the first rotary wing part 11, at least a part of the main wing 21 is folded so as to reduce the plan projected area of the aircraft 100 and make it harder to be affected by an updraft or the like.
