Abstract:
This aircraft performs vertical takeoff and landing. The aircraft is provided with: at least a pair of fixed blades 20-j; a rotor blade 402-1 that is rotary driven to generate a propulsion force for propelling the aircraft vertically upward; rotary drive units 403-1 to 408-1 for rotary driving the rotor blade using electric power; and a support body 401 that has an internal space SP housing at least a part of the rotary drive units and supports the rotor blade. The support body is provided with: a first opening forming section 411 that has a first opening connecting the internal space of the support body with the outside, at a position different from the downstream of an air flow FL0 sent by the rotation of the rotor blade; and second opening forming sections 412 that have a second opening connecting the internal space of the support body with the outside, on the downstream of the air flow sent by the rotation of the rotor blade. The second opening forming section has a shape with which the air flow sent by the rotation of the rotor blade reduces the pressure near the second opening and thereby the air in the internal space flows out to the outside.
