Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for giving the alarm to the driver, dozing in a running car. This device comprises a driving operation detecting portion (A) for reducing a weighting value (ni) from the degree of monotony (T) in accordance with operation of various types of operation means to thereby correct the degree of monotony (T), a steering operation detecting portion (C) for obtaining a steering condition value (for instance SQ), a running position detecting portion (A) for detecting a meandering amount (Rn) which is a deviation from a white line image obtained from an inspection image P, a fuzzy inference portion (D) for estimating the degree of awakening X from a membership function of the respective portions (A), (B), (C), and a warning portion F for driving an alarming means 7 in accordance with the degree of awakening X, wherein the dozing of a driver can accurately be detected so as to give the alarm. In particular, the dozing of a driver may be detected more accurately by detecting a meandering amount (Rn) from a white line image obtained with a camera 2.
