Abstract:
An alginic acid fiber with a high degree of orientation and a preparation method therefor, belonging to the technical field of polymer materials. The method comprises: using sodium alginate having a molecular weight of 400-10000 Daltons and a polyvinyl alcohol having an alcoholysis degree of 70-100 and a polymerization degree of 500-4000 as raw materials, dissolving same to obtain a spinning raw solution, subjecting same to defoaming by means of standing, and spinning same, followed by treatments in a first coagulation bath and a second coagulation bath, then drawing same, and removing the polyvinyl alcohol by means of washing with water to finally obtain the alginic acid fiber with a high degree of orientation. By means of the preparation method, the molecular weight of sodium alginate and the alcoholysis degree and polymerization degree of the polyvinyl alcohol are rationally selected; an alginic acid/polyvinyl alcohol composite fiber with a high degree of orientation is obtained by means of optimizing spinning and drawing conditions; the nature that intermolecular or intramolecular hydrogen bonds hinder the super-drawing of the fiber and eventually affect the fiber strength is disclosed; and by means of changing the conditions, the purposes of weakening hydrogen bonds, improving the draw ratio of the fiber and eventually improving the fiber strength are achieved.
