Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are an alliance chain-based smart contract upgrading method and system. The smart contract upgrading method comprises: receiving an upgrade transaction submitted by means of an alliance chain call entry; verifying the upgrade transaction so as to verify whether the upgrade transaction is initiated by the creator of an original smart contract by means of an authorization node; and when the verification result is that the upgrade transaction is initiated by the creator of the original smart contract by means of the authorization node, submitting the upgrade transaction to the entire alliance chain, so that the alliance chain receives and executes the upgrade transaction and writes an execution code for a new smart contract into a storage location of the corresponding original smart contract. With the embodiments of the present invention, low-cost upgrade of a smart contract may be achieved under the premise of ensuring compatibility.
