Title:
ALLOY MEMBER, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SAID ALLOY MEMBER, AND PRODUCT INCLUDING SAID ALLOY MEMBER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/138191
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an alloy member which comprises a high-entropy alloy having high mechanical strength and high corrosion resistance and which has excellent homogeneity in both alloy composition and microstructure and excellent shape controllability, a process for producing the alloy member, and a product including the alloy member. The alloy member according to the present invention is characterized by having a chemical composition which contains Co, Cr, Fe, Ni, and Ti in amounts of 5-35 at.% each and further contains Mo in an amount larger than 0 at.% but not larger than 8 at.%, with the remainder comprising unavoidable impurities. The alloy member is further characterized in that ultrafine grains having an average grain diameter of 40 nm or smaller have dispersedly precipitated in the matrix crystals.
