Abstract:
A lubricator 2 supplies, as an alloy sheet material 11, an unwound coil material to a metal beverage can production line for shaping an alloy sheet material 11 into a metal beverage can. The lubricator 2 comprises: a felt roll 21 that includes a lubricating oil in a first outer peripheral part; a felt roll 22 that has a second outer peripheral part; a sheet material lift or the like for switching between a first state and a second state, wherein in the first state, the alloy sheet material 11 is in contact with the first outer peripheral part of the felt roll 21 and with the second outer peripheral part of the felt roll 22 and the lubricating oil is applied to the alloy sheet material 11 by the first outer peripheral part and/or second outer peripheral part, and in the second state, the felt roll 21 and/or felt roll 22 that apply the lubricating oil in the first state are separated from the alloy sheet material 11 and can idle; and an air receiving part or the like that imparts driving force to the felt roll 21 and/or felt roll 22 that can idle in the second state by virtue of the sheet material lift or the like.
