Abstract:
Provided is an aluminum alloy fin material that is for a heat exchanger, contains 0.5-1.5 mass% of Si, 0.1-1.0 mass% of Fe, 0.8-1.8 mass% of Mn, and 0.4-2.5 mass% of Zn, the remainder comprising Al and unavoidable impurities, the pre-brazing-heating metal structure is such that the density of second phase particles having an equivalent circle diameter of less than 0.1 μm is less than 1×107 particles/mm2 and the density of second phase particles having an equivalent circle diameter of at least 0.1 μm is at least 5×104 particles/mm2, the pre-brazing-heating tensile strength (TSB)(N/mm2), post-brazing-heating tensile strength (TSA) (N/mm2), and fin material thickness (t) (μm) satisfy the relationship 0.4 ≤ (TSB-TSA)/t ≤ 2.1, and the thickness is no greater than 150 μm. Further provided is a method for producing the aluminum alloy fin material for a heat exchanger.
