Abstract:
An aluminum alloy foil according to the present invention is characterized by having a composition containing Fe: 1.0-1.8 mass%, Si: 0.01-0.08 mass%, and Cu: 0.005-0.05 mass%, with Mn being restricted to 0.01 mass% or less and the remainder being Al and unavoidable impurities, and is further characterized in that: in a crystal orientation analysis per unit area via electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), a length ratio (HAGBs/LAGBs) of high-angle grain boundaries (HAGBs), having an orientation difference of 15º or higher, to low angle grain boundaries (LAGBs), having an orientation difference of 2º to less than 15º, is greater than 2.0; as an aggregated structure, a Cu orientation density is 40 or less and an R orientation density is 30 or less; and a difference (Ra20 - Ra0) between an initial surface roughness Ra0 and a surface roughness Ra20 at the time of 20% strain in a tensile test is 0.25 µm or less.
