Abstract:
This aluminum alloy sheet contains 4.0-5.5 mass% Mg and 0.005-0.10 mass% Ti and has contents of Fe, Mn, and Si, as impurities, less than 0.10 mass% each, with the remainder consisting substantially of Al and unavoidable impurities, wherein the average crystal grain diameter is less than 30 μm, the ratio of the volume content of S-orientation crystals to the volume content of Cube-orientation crystals [(volume content of S-orientation crystals)/(volume content of Cube-orientation crystals)] is less than 0.3, the volume content of Cube-orientation crystals is 10-25%, the tensile strength is 250 MPa or greater, the proof stress is less than 130 MPa, the elongation is 30% or greater, and the plane strain limit at break is 0.22 or greater.
