Abstract:
An aluminum-compressed electric wire (1) comprises: a twisted wire conductor (20) composed of a compressed twisted wire conductor (22) in which seven twisted wires of aluminum strands (10) are compressed, the twisted wire conductor (20) having a conductor cross-sectional area of 0.22 sq; and an insulating layer (30) that covers the periphery of the twisted wire conductor (20). The twisted wire conductor (20) has a first compression ratio CR1[%], which is expressed by expression (1), of 9 to 11%, and a conductor breaking strength of greater than or equal to 284 MPa. For the aluminum strands (10), a non-compressed aluminum strand (11) that is an aluminum strand before compression has an elongation of greater than or equal to 8%. (1): CR1={1-(Cmin/Bmax)}×100 (wherein Cmin is the minimum outer diameter [mm] of compressed twisted wire conductor, and Bmax is the maximum outer diameter [mm] of the non-compressed twisted wire conductor)
