Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a highly corrosion-resistant and highly electroconductive aluminum foil produced by laminating, etc., on a surface of an aluminum foil, a substance which is different from aluminum, where the amount of the substance is reduced to a level that does not require segregation or the like, and to provide a method for producing the same. The present invention provides a highly corrosion-resistant and highly electroconductive aluminum foil comprising an aluminum foil substrate and cyclic siloxane attached to at least one surface of the aluminum foil substrate, the amount of the siloxane attached, as determined by a gas chromatography analysis, being 10 μg/m2 or greater but less than 100 μg/m2. Also provided is a method for producing the aluminum foil.
