Abstract:
In order to secure a space for inserting the forks of a forklift even with aluminum ingots that are short in length, this aluminum ingot package (10) is characterized in that: on a first level, three aluminum ingots (111, 112, 113) are placed face-down and in parallel with one another at an interval (I2) shorter than the length (I1) of the aluminum ingots (1); on a second level, aluminum ingots (121, 122) are placed so as to intersect in a substantially orthogonal manner with the three aluminum ingots (111, 112, 113) on the first level and span spaces (B1, B2) between two adjacent aluminum ingots among the three aluminum ingots (111, 112, 113); and a tying band (2a) is positioned and tightened along the longitudinal direction of a groove (1c) formed on the upper face (1a) of each of the aluminum ingots (111, 112, 113) on the first level and each of aluminum ingots (191, 192, 193) on a ninth level.
