Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is an aluminum thermal self-propagation gradient reduction and slag washing and refining-based method for preparing a tungsten-iron alloy, comprising: (1) aluminum thermal self-propagation gradient reduction: a first manner comprising raw materials being divided into several batches, and a first batch of materials being placed into a reaction furnace, magnesium powder then being ignited from a top portion of the materials so as to initiate a self-propagation reaction, while the other batches of materials are added sequentially until the reaction is complete; the second manner comprising raw materials other than aluminum powder being uniformly mixed and added into a continuous mixer at a uniform flow rate, while the aluminum powder is added into the continuous mixer at a graded decreasing flow rate, the mixed raw materials then being continuously introduced into a reaction furnace to carry out an aluminum thermal self-propagation reaction until all of the materials have reacted completely; (2) thermal insulation smelting to obtain an upper layer of aluminum oxide-based slag and a lower layer of an alloy melt; (3) injecting refining slag into the lower layer of the alloy melt to carry out stirring slag washing and refining; (4) cooling the refined high-temperature melt to room temperature, and removing an upper layer of smelting slag so as to obtain a tungsten-iron alloy.
