Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of discovering an aluminum wheel primer coat composition, which can form a coating film of excellent coating stability, corrosion resistance, anti-edge corrosion properties and filiform corrosion resistance. The present invention provides: 1. an aluminum wheel primer coat composition comprising a specified copolymer resin (A) and, with respect to 100 parts by mass of copolymer resin (A) solids, 1-30 parts by mass of fumed silica (B) and 0.1-10 parts by mass of a magnesium-containing phosphate compound (C); and 2. an aluminum wheel primer coat composition described in item 1. which contains, with respect to 100 parts by mass total copolymer resin (A) solids, 0.1-10 parts by mass of a metal ion-exchanged silica (D).
