Abstract:
An electronic device comprises a speaker, a sensor, a communication circuit, a processor, and memory for storing instructions. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the wireless audio device, while outputting a signal for reducing external sound through the speaker, can: identity an external electronic device by using the communication circuit; use the sensor to identify a conversation in response to the position of the external electronic device satisfying a designated condition; in response to the conversation being identified, pause, for a first time interval, the output of the signal for reducing the external sound; and in response to designated keywords being included in the identified conversation, extend, for a second time interval, the pause of the output of the signal for reducing the external sound.
