Abstract:
Prodrugs consisting of compounds represented by general formula (1), which are useful as remedies for nerve degeneration diseases including neuropil degeneration diseases wherein Ar is optionally substituted phenyl or an optionally substituted aromatic heterocyclic group; n is an integer of 0, 1 or 2; R?1¿ is hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl; R?2¿ and R?3¿ are each independently optionally substituted alkyl, or either R?2¿ and R?1¿ or R?2¿ and R?3¿ together with the carbon atom(s) to which they are bonded may form a cycloalkane ring which may be substituted; R?4¿ and R?5¿ are each independently hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl; and R?6¿ is hydrogen, hydroxyl or alkyl.
